Art In English

 The Enlightenment and the older movements that we revisited were a little tough for me. I am not a big history person and completing those assignments took a little time because doing the research and then completing the padlet and then comparing it to another piece of art was a lot of work and took me a lot of time. My work process was pretty good and impacted my writing in a good way. In researching I learned a lot about each movement and it led me to finding a good piece of art to analyze and compare to the cultural movement that I was working on.  My strongest pieces of work were definitely the works of art that I analyzed and compared to the cultural movements. I felt that I would have a hard time with those but in the end they came out to be my best work and I enjoyed doing them.  This week I decided to put some work into a component that did not meet the standard of the project. I had to add more Identification, analysis and evaluation of each song I provided. I started by getting a bunch of songs down and had some notes on each song. Then this week I went in and put more information in to make it reach the standard of the project. This coming week I have a lot of work to do in order to finish the project but it is very doable I just need to do a few more songs and I'll be good to go. My stress levels are pretty high right now with finals week ahead of us. I'm confident I will be able to finish strong it is just going to take a lot of mental focus and clarity, while staying cool, calm and collected. I have a good list of what I am going to have to get done this week and I think I've given myself a good enough time table to get everything done and be successful in the semester.
