Recreated 'This I Believe'

 I believe that art has a much broader spectrum on what it can be than most people think. Art can be anything that is created that brings someone joy when they engage with it. The special thing about art is that you can engage in so many different ways because of how broad the idea of it is. My art of choice to engage in most is music. Music is such a unique style of art because you can enjoy it with just your ears and even feel with your whole body if it's loud enough. I believe that most art is enjoyed through sight like photography, sculpture and architecture where people get a mental satisfaction. Music gives a full body satisfaction that I feel is unmatched by any other form of art and I think is very unique. I also believe that music can do more than just give people satisfaction in the way that it can be telling a story that relates to what is going on in the world at the time and could have a big impact on the community. It is amazing to think that an art that is created can do more than just give a person satisfaction but can cause social change as well. 

I believe that art is an important part of society in the sense that some people can use it to just get away from whatever is on their mind and get some enjoyment to refresh and get some mental clarity. Art can be very therapeutic for people and be that one thing that gets them through the day whether it is a good book or a beautiful picture. With all the different forms of art there is a style for everyone to find enjoyment in. Someone could say how they hate art and don't understand it while they are sitting at home on the couch that was created as a piece of art watching their favorite television show that they have no idea is a form of art. I believe that art can be anything that brings you joy! It doesn't have to be something that is intended to be art but if it is created and brings you joy then it is probably a form of art.  

I myself am not a very artistic person and don't often look at things and consider them to be art but, art surrounds us everywhere we go in life. Every chair you sit in has a specific design because the person that purchased those chairs thought that they matched the room best or they were the most comfortable. That is two different forms of art in the same sculpture of a chair; mind satisfaction, and feel. If we walked around for just a few minutes looking all around us at the things not created to be considered art, we would be pointing out endless art that we had no idea about. I believe that art can be anything you choose it to be and we are living in a world of art.
