Thoughts In AtAP
For my course project I'm thinking about trying to do something around the topic of sports. I'm trying to figure out a way of making it relevant and usable for the project though. I don't feel like I could connect with and engage with any of the options that were suggested in the prompt so I am going to try and find a way to make something with sports relevant to this assignments' topic. If anyone has any suggestions on how I could do so and make it work, please let me know! I'm open to any suggestions. I think this could be a fun project if I get to research something that I'm actually interested in so I'm thinking about something with sports. I'd love to make it around hockey, racing, fighting, or golf but I'm open to anything. I'm not sure what the best website platform to use is either so any thoughts there would help too.
Hi Connor- I think you could definitely do an examination of sports in the arts. Film is probably the most obvious example-- you could look at how sports (or maybe one sport, in particular) is depicted in film. Literature would also work really well; there are plenty of stories about sports, too. Of course you're limited to works from the last 10 years OR looking at older works within the context of current events., so keep that in mind!
